Bee's Knees | Portobello Gin Cocktail

This prohibition-era drink takes its name from slang used by flappers and bootleggers alike to describe something that's "the best." It's said that the honey and lemon were used to mask the harsh smell of the bathtub gin that was being used at the time. While there's no need to mask the crisp, citrusy taste of Portobello Road Gin, this cocktail is a classic to be enjoyed.

    Recipe:

    -2 oz Portobello Road Gin

    -¾ oz lemon juice

    -½ oz *honey syrup

Add all ingredients into shaker filled with ice

    Strain into chilled martini glass

    Garnish with lemon twist

*Honey Syrup - ½ cup honey, ½ cup water, heat up in saucepan and stir until blended
